1. Hi Sharni, we are delighted to have you in our PureSmile family. Can you please tell us a bit more about yourself?
My passion and career started in Dance where I spent most of my younger years studying and perfecting my craft. This then extended to my owning and managing an extremely successful dance, performing arts and fitness studio based in Melbourne for several years. In my later career, I have expanded my aspiration and footprint through working directly within the Aesthetics arena with some of Australia’s top Aesthetic manufacturing and distribution Companies.
I have spent over 20 years in the Plastic Surgery, Aesthetics, Beauty, Health and Fitness Industry. My experience in this space includes a strong affiliation with Australia’s leading dermatologists, Plastic and Cosmetic Surgeons, Cosmetic Physicians, GP’s and nurses.
I have developed a solid sales background and likewise imparted my extensive industry knowledge through in-clinic consulting, providing face-to-face education and sharing my understanding of aesthetic products, in particular cosmeceuticals, medical lasers, anti-aging platforms, beautification equipment, and injectables.
I feel extremely privileged to have had the opportunity to launch MBODY Aesthetics and have seen firsthand the wonderful and life-changing outcomes that the very technologies I used to promote, now deliver to my own patients. I am extremely proud to be affiliated with the delightful and experienced team I have fostered over the years and that now form part of MBODY Aesthetics.
2. When did you start your business and why did you choose to offer PureSmile teeth whitening to your clients?
MBODY Aesthetics has now been in operation for 3 years. We decided to begin offering teeth whitening but not just any teeth whitening, we searched for the best being PURESMILE, mainly because we were getting asked a lot, but also we recognised that it went hand in hand with a lot of the services we offer. Obviously offering injectable treatments and providing clients with beautiful lips or eyes that shine and look refreshed, what better way to compliment these refreshed looks but with a gorgeous set of pearly whites. We love giving clients their confidence back by looking and feeling great!
3. What other treatments do you offer? Is there anything particular that you specialise in?
MBODY is a cosmetic medispa and as mentioned above, we offer services such as cosmetic injectable treatments, skin treatments, threads, PRP, the ever so popular Emsculpt (which works to build muscle & burn fat) along with Fat Freezing, one of our more popular services. MBODY is known in Brisbane as the body contouring specialists and place to go.
4. Are you planning to introduce any new services to your clients in the near future?
We have some super exciting plans on the very near horizon, so watch this space! We also have some new treatments coming as we are always looking to provide our clients with the latest edge technology and treatments and we are also expanding our team to give more flexibility to our clients and provide clients with choice and added experience.
